RG6 coaxial Cable transmits high-frequency signals up to 3000 MHz at a maximum attenuation of 14dB/100m and used in MS CIC Pro clinical information center. RG6 coaxial cable consists of an 18 AWG solid bare copper inner conductor with double shielding of aluminum braid and aluminum foil wrapped around PVC jacket. RG6 coaxial plenum cable transmits high radio frequency energy, the inner conductor carries high frequency signal and the outer shield acts as the return path. The power loss by external electromagnetic interference is protected by double shielding. The benefit of plenum rated cable is, it has a special insulation flame-retardant jacket that is made of special plastics that has low flame and smoke characteristics preventing fire.
